J.R. Ramirez is a Cuban-born actor known for playing complex and challenging roles in a number of television shows and feature films. In addition, he is also known for his recurring guest star role as "Ted 'Wildcat' Grant" on CW's top-rated show “Arrow.” After finding early success in modeling, J.R. debuted in the American television series, “House of Payne.” He was also a series regular on the second season of Marvel’s Netflix hit “Jessica Jones,” was on four seasons of Starz's top hit series “Power,” which was executive produced by 50 Cent, and he was on the CW dramedy “Emily Owens M.D..” J.R. is fluent in English and Spanish. He loves the outdoors and is an avid hiker, tennis & basketball player, but especially has a love for golfing. He's a passionate perfectionist and, when not working in New York, he calls Tampa and Los Angeles home. J.R. is also a dog dad, so his home wouldn't be complete without his Havanese-Schnauzer rescue dog, Freddy.
